Job Description As a Software Engineer at Profitap, you are involved in every step of our engineering process. Through system design, development, and testing, your work and ideas will directly impact and shape our products. You will work with a dynamic team of software and hardware engineers in the R&D department. Together with your team, you will be involved in developing the core of our solutions. These can range from developing new RESTful API business logic to system facilities’ configuration to designing network traffic analysis software components. Job Requirements You’re a perfect match if you have: Around 5 years of working experience with modern C++ (14/17/20) Knowledge of modern C++ primitives for multi-threading and concurrency. Core Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software across the engineering process, contributing to the core of Profitap’s network monitoring products. Collaborate with software and hardware engineers on RESTful API business logic, system configuration facilities, and network traffic analysis components.

Requirements

The role requires around five years of experience with modern C++ (14, 17, or 20), knowledge of multithreading and concurrency, and a solid understanding of GNU/Linux systems and kernel concepts. Git experience and strong written and spoken English are required; experience with testing frameworks, networking protocols, CI/CD, GitLab, and Debian packaging is advantageous.
