⭐About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Engineer to join our IDC (Internet Data Center) operations team. In this role, you will help ensure the stability, availability, and security of critical data center infrastructure, including power supply, HVAC, and low-voltage electrical systems. You will perform on-site duties, respond to incidents promptly, and contribute to continuous improvement in operational efficiency. ⭐Key Responsibilities On-Site Duty & Emergency Response Perform 5×8 on-site duties at the IDC as per client requirements. Arrive on-site promptly outside working hours in accordance with IT operations incident management guidelines. Infrastructure Monitoring & Data Accuracy Update and maintain infrastructure information with 100% accuracy. Regularly check platform alarm settings and monitor system availability and stability. Facility Inspection & Maintenance Conduct facility inspections in line with the client's requirements (Alibaba), including facility status checks, maintenance/repair MOP (Method of Procedure) review, and follow-up. Incident Response & Reporting Respond quickly and arrive on-site according to IT operations incident management guidelines. Handle incidents promptly following EOP (Emergency Operation Procedure) and report them accordingly. Infrastructure Fault Diagnosis Maintain a strong understanding of IDC infrastructure, including power supply, HVAC, and low-voltage electrical systems. Quickly locate faults and restore services in the event of an incident. Operational Efficiency Apply knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, capacity management, security management, and availability management to improve operational efficiency. Change Management Independently create and implement change MOPs, ensuring no incidents occur due to operational changes. Additional Duties Complete other tasks as outlined in the Service Contract, Outsourcing Requirement Specification, and related attachments. ⭐Qualifications Educational Background Full-time associate degree or equivalent and above. Preferred major: Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or related fields. Work Experience At least 1 year of relevant industry experience. Basic knowledge of infrastructure and IDC operations. ⭐What We're Looking For Communication: Clear and logical expression; polite listening. Collaboration: Ability to collaborate across multiple teams; remote teamwork and cross-language, cross-region coordination. Management: Proficiency in English communication, multi-team collaboration, meeting organization, and facility maintenance and repair scheduling. Language: Local language + English, or local language + Chinese.

Core Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor data center infrastructure, including power, HVAC, and low-voltage electrical systems; conduct inspections, review maintenance procedures, and keep infrastructure records accurate. Respond to incidents, diagnose faults, restore services, implement operational changes safely, and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Requires a full-time associate degree or equivalent, with Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field preferred, and at least one year of relevant industry experience. Candidates should have basic knowledge of infrastructure and data center operations, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and proficiency in English alongside the local language or Chinese.
