We are looking for someone who writes production-quality code, develops test frameworks and automation, and works closely with software engineers to improve the testability and quality of complex high-tech systems. If your experience is mainly in manual testing, QA coordination, test execution, system integration or validation without substantial software development and test automation experience, this role is probably not the right match. What will you do as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)? We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who combines strong software development skills with hands-on experience in test automation. You will: Design, develop and maintain test frameworks and automation tooling using Python and/or C++. Develop automated tests at different levels, including unit, integration and system testing. Contribute to software development and improve the testability of production code. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure. Analyze complex failures and trace issues to their technical root cause in code. Work closely with software engineers, architects and other technical specialists. Contribute to test architecture, observability and quality-by-design. What do you bring as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or a similar technical field. 5+ years of professional experience in a high-tech environment. Such as Medical, Semiconductor, Aerospace, Defense or similar. Strong programming experience in Python, C++ and/or C#. Demonstrable experience developing automated tests and/or test frameworks. Strong understanding of software development and object-oriented programming. Experience working with complex software or embedded systems. You take ownership of test architecture, automation tooling and technical improvements. What do we offer you? Core Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks, automation tools, and automated tests across unit, integration, and system levels, while contributing to production software and improving its testability. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure, investigate failures to identify technical root causes, and collaborate with engineers and architects on test architecture, observability, and quality-by-design.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a similar technical field, plus at least five years of professional experience in a high-tech environment. Candidates should have strong Python, C++, and/or C# programming skills, experience developing automated tests or test frameworks, a solid understanding of software development and object-oriented programming, and experience with complex software or embedded systems.
