Do you enjoy solving challenges and working in an international environment? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA & Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in Amstelveen. In this role, you will help ensure that our food products comply with applicable EU regulations and internal quality standards. You will be involved in product compliance, supplier assessments, quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with colleagues across different departments. Your Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Product Documentation Ensure compliance with applicable EU food legislation and support relevant international regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate product specifications, including ingredients, nutritional information, allergens, and packaging details. Review product labels, packaging, and marketing claims to ensure regulatory compliance. Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation and product compliance records. Quality Assurance & Supplier Management Review supplier documentation, certificates of analysis (COAs), and product specifications. Coordinate supplier quality assessments and support internal and external audits. Investigate quality complaints and non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and support HACCP compliance. Monitor quality performance, identify potential risks, and recommend practical improvements. Support audit preparation, document control, and quality improvement initiatives. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product Development to address quality and regulatory matters. Provide practical QA/RA guidance and support the consistent application of quality standards. What We’re Looking For Ideally 2–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Food Safety, or a related position within the food industry. A Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field. Basic knowledge of the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and FCM (Food Contact Materials) regulations. Good knowledge of EU food legislation, particularly food labeling, allergens, and product compliance. Practical understanding of HACCP, food safety principles, and quality management systems. Experience with product specifications, technical documentation, supplier assessments, or quality investigations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with different teams. Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English. Nice to Have Knowledge of Korean food regulations. Familiarity with BRCGS or other recognized food safety standards. Experience with imported food products and international suppliers. Core Responsibilities

Support supplier assessments, audits, quality investigations, HACCP and QMS documentation, and continuous improvement while advising and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

The role ideally requires 2–5 years of relevant food-industry experience and a master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field. Candidates should know EU food legislation, labeling and allergens, HACCP and quality systems, and have experience with product documentation or supplier and quality assessments; professional English proficiency is required.
