About the role We're looking for a salesperson with a proven track record: someone who has carried ambitious targets, closed deals consistently, and knows what it takes to win in a competitive market. As Senior Business Development Manager, FinTech & Loyalty Partnerships, you'll own and grow our partner network across retail, e-commerce, travel, and services. You'll take commercial growth end-to-end, from prospecting and deal-making to go-live and scaling, with a particular focus on large, strategic, multi-market partnerships. As one of our senior commercial people, you'll also help shape how we sell and raise the bar for the wider team. What you'll be selling You'll take Woolsocks' full commercial portfolio to partners. These are four product lines that turn everyday spending into measurable growth: PSD2 / Open Banking: built on the European open banking standard, giving partners access to one of the richest sources of purchase data and customer behavior. Two flagship formats: Targeted activations Collectables on subscriptions Cashback & Affiliate campaigns: high-impact placements that drive incremental sales for (online) retailers and consumer brands. Gift card deals: marketing campaigns with leading retail and consumer brands. Media deals: co-funded marketing partnerships. You'll sell these across retail, e-commerce, travel, and services, structuring the right mix of cashback, vouchers, PSD2 activations, and media for each partner. What you'll do Identify, pitch, and close new Account/Card-Linked Offer and loyalty partnerships, including high-value and strategic accounts. Own a healthy pipeline end-to-end: prioritize opportunities, forecast accurately, follow up with discipline, and consistently deliver against quarterly targets. Structure and negotiate complex deals, including fees, incentives, margins, exclusivity, and performance-based and multi-year terms. Act as a senior point of contact for partners, managing senior and C-level stakeholders with credibility. Partner with Operations, Product, and Analytics to ensure smooth onboarding, offer setup, tracking, and reporting. Drive partner growth through data-driven optimization (segmentation, test & learn, promotion plans). Help shape and sharpen our commercial playbook, and coach and support more junior colleagues. Who you are 5–10 years of proven sales experience in business development, partnerships or account management, preferably in Retail, Affiliate Marketing, FinTech, Gift cards or FMCG (experience in consumer apps, loyalty, retail media or adtech is also welcome). A demonstrable track record of closing and scaling significant deals and consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. Experience managing senior and C-level stakeholders and negotiating complex contracts. Strong command of a structured sales process (pipeline management, disciplined follow-ups, clear next steps) and confident, accurate forecasting. Fluent with performance-driven commercial models (cashback/incentives, CPO/CPS/CPA, ROAS/incrementality). Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Fluent in English. Nice to have Hands-on experience with Card-Linked Offers (CLO), affiliate networks, gift card and loyalty platforms, or retail media. International retailer/e-commerce partnerships and complex, multi-market contracts. Familiarity with open banking/PSD2 use cases or working in regulated environments.
