Job Summary: We are seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to join our Technology/IT team in Den Haag. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving process improvements and delivering data-driven insights. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define requirements, analyze business processes, and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives Support project management activities, including planning, tracking, and reporting Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts and use cases Assist in user acceptance testing and change management activities Requirements: Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or BI tools) Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with requirements gathering and process mapping Preferred Experience in the technology or IT sector Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) What We Offer: Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Health and wellness benefits, including medical and dental coverage Professional development opportunities and training budget Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options Generous paid time off and holiday leave Collaborative and inclusive team culture

Core Responsibilities

Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories, and use data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Collaborate with business and technology teams to improve processes, validate solutions, support project activities, and assist with testing and change management.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, at least five years of relevant experience, and strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Candidates must be proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI tools, and in Python; experience in IT, Agile/Scrum, relevant certifications, and project management tools is preferred.
