JD Logistics Netherlands | Joybuy Reverse Logistics JD Logistics Netherlands is looking for a Quality Inspection Engineer to support the reverse logistics operations of Joybuy e-commerce, ensuring the quality, condition, and authenticity of returned high-value consumer electronics. Key Responsibilities Inspect and authenticate returned high-value consumer electronics, including smartphones, laptops, tablets, gaming consoles and wearables. Identify counterfeit, tampered, substituted, refurbished, or non-conforming products. Verify serial numbers, IMEI numbers, packaging, labels, security features, accessories and product specifications. Assess returned products and determine their condition and appropriate disposition. Document inspection results and escalate suspected counterfeit or fraudulent products. Support investigations into returns, customer claims, inventory discrepancies and product substitution. Help develop and improve inspection procedures and counterfeit-detection methods. Work closely with Joybuy reverse logistics, warehouse, quality and loss prevention teams. Requirements Proven experience in quality inspection, product authentication, electronics testing, or a similar role. Hands-on experience identifying counterfeit high-value consumer electronics is essential. Strong knowledge of consumer electronics and common counterfeit indicators. Excellent attention to detail and analytical/investigative skills. Experience documenting inspection findings and working with digital systems. English proficiency; Dutch is a plus. Experience in e-commerce, returns, reverse logistics, retail or fulfilment is an advantage. Profile We are looking for someone who is technically knowledgeable, highly detail-oriented and confident in assessing product authenticity and condition.

Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates need proven experience in quality inspection, product authentication, electronics testing, or a similar role, including hands-on experience identifying counterfeit high-value electronics. They should have strong electronics knowledge, excellent attention to detail and investigative skills, and experience documenting findings in digital systems; English is required, while Dutch and experience in e-commerce or reverse logistics are advantageous.
