The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Modular Construction to join our Projects / Operations team. The role combines hands-on project ownership with leadership of the Project Management team. Responsibilities include managing complex modular construction projects from contract award to final handover, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery. Acting as the main customer contact, the role coordinates internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, site activities, materials, equipment, and resources throughout project execution. As a senior member of the team, the position also provides leadership, guidance, and support to Project Leaders, coordinates priorities across the project portfolio, supports the resolution of complex operational and commercial issues, and drives continuous improvement in project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead complex modular construction projects from contract award through final handover. Take full ownership of project delivery, including schedule, budget, quality, safety, and contractual performance. Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution. Build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate internal departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Take overall responsibility for the effective deployment of people, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources on customer sites. Develop and monitor detailed project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved. Identify project risks, delays, and constraints and implement appropriate corrective actions. Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts, profitability, variations, claims, and additional works. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual, safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Ensure compliance with Belgian Health & Safety legislation and Algeco standards. Lead project meetings, progress reviews, kick-offs, and site coordination meetings where required. Provide technical and commercial support to Sales during tender and quotation phases. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to other Project Leaders. Coordinate project priorities, risks, workload, and resources across the Project Management team. Act as an escalation point for complex customer, technical, commercial, planning, or subcontractor issues. Promote consistent project management practices and share lessons learned and best practices. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. About You Experienced project management professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in construction or a comparable technical project environment. Key requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 7 years of experience in construction, modular building, or comparable technical project management. Proven experience managing multiple complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. Experience coordinating people, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and site activities. Strong customer, stakeholder, commercial, and financial management skills. Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading Project Managers or Project Leaders is an advantage. Experience in modular construction, temporary buildings, industrial projects, or turnkey construction is a strong advantage. Strong planning, organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus at least seven years of relevant project management experience. Candidates should have experience managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, strong customer, commercial, financial, planning, and problem-solving skills, and fluency in Dutch and English; modular construction experience and French are advantages.
