As a Process Engineer at Lamers High Tech Systems, located in Nijmegen, you are responsible for designing, optimizing, and securing our high-tech production processes. You act as the technical bridge between the engineering department and the production teams to achieve a seamless workflow and maximum efficiency. You are not a "die-hard" R&D engineer sitting behind a screen all day, but a hands-on professional who draws energy from the dynamics on the shop floor. What you will actually be doing: Process Optimization: Applying Lean methodologies to eliminate waste, shorten throughput times, and boost operational performance on the shop floor. Production Support & Communication: Close alignment with the production floor to translate operational bottlenecks into structural process improvements. Cleanroom Technology: Managing and continuously improving assembly processes within the cleanroom environment, taking cleanliness requirements and quality standards into account. Quality & Risk Management: Executing Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), defining critical process parameters, and leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in the event of process deviations. Specifically, we are looking for someone with: Education: A completed technical degree, for example in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics. Hands-on approach: Proactive, quality-conscious, and comfortable in an environment that is not always strictly structured. Process-oriented: Demonstrable experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement. Mindset: You are not a theoretical designer, but someone who understands how products are actually made and improved.
