Job Description

Introduction to the job The D&E Delivery Finance Business Partner serves as a strategic financial advisor to the D&E Delivery organization, supporting leadership in program and product areas to ensure delivery within cost, scope, and timing constraints while enabling efficiency and value realization. Key responsibilities include leading financial planning, monitoring performance and risks, ensuring governance compliance, and fostering cross-functional alignment. The role collaborates closely with D&E Delivery leadership, R&D Finance, PMO, and Business Line Finance, delivering integrated financial plans, performance reports, cost forecasts, and efficiency tracking. Success is measured by adherence to financial constraints, impactful decision support, transparency, efficiency realization, and stakeholder satisfaction, requiring strong finance expertise, senior business partnering skills, and an execution-focused mindset Role and responsibilities Provide strategic financial advice and challenge to D&E leadership Support delivery of the Program/Product within budget, scope, and timing Drive financial performance on Cost-at-Complete and Cost of Goods Ensure CAPEX/OPEX governance and compliance for the relevant Program/Product Lead financial planning (LTFP, TAP, MOR) Monitor risks and opportunities Enable cross-functional alignment and one financial voice Education and experience Master’s degree in Business Economics, preferably followed by recognized professional controller qualification (i.e. RC). Minimum of 10 years of work experience in a business control environment. Core Responsibilities

Advise and challenge D&E Delivery leadership, supporting program and product delivery within budget, scope, and timing constraints while driving cost performance and efficiency. Lead financial planning and governance, monitor risks and opportunities, and align stakeholders around integrated financial plans and performance reporting.

Requirements

A master’s degree in Business Economics is required, preferably followed by a recognized professional controller qualification. Candidates should have at least 10 years of business control experience, preferably in a high-tech environment, with strong analytical, influencing, and communication skills.
