At TOLSA, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our plant in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands. This is a key leadership role within the site Management Team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and continuous improvement of our production equipment and facilities. What will you do? As Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance function, combining reactive and preventive maintenance strategies while driving operational excellence across the site. Your main responsibilities will include: ✅Leading and developing the maintenance team and external contractors ✅ Defining, planning, and executing preventive maintenance plans ✅ Managing and improving the maintenance management system (SAP PM) ✅ Monitoring equipment performance and conducting risk assessments ✅ Ensuring spare parts availability and inventory management ✅ Guaranteeing compliance with EHS and machine safety regulations ✅ Managing maintenance costs and budgets ✅ Supporting CAPEX projects from planning through execution ✅ Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives ✅ Collaborating closely with Operations and other departments to achieve site objectives ✅ Participating in best practice sharing across the TOLSA Group What are we looking for? ✔ Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification ✔ Solid experience in maintenance management within an industrial or manufacturing environment ✔ Experience leading maintenance teams and contractors ✔ Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance methodologies and continuous improvement principles ✔ Experience with SAP PM or similar CMMS systems ✔ Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills ✔ Data-driven mindset and ability to work with operational performance indicators Languages ✔ English (mandatory) ✔ French (valuable) ✔ Additional languages will be considered an asset Why join TOLSA? Core Responsibilities
Lead and develop the maintenance team and contractors, plan and execute preventive maintenance, and improve equipment reliability and the SAP PM maintenance system. Manage safety compliance, spare parts, budgets, and CAPEX projects while driving continuous improvement and collaborating with Operations and other departments.
Requirements
Requires an engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification and solid maintenance management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Candidates should have experience leading teams and contractors, knowledge of preventive maintenance and continuous improvement, familiarity with SAP PM or a similar CMMS, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and mandatory English; French is an asset.
