At TOLSA, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead and develop our manufacturing operations in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams in a modern industrial environment. 🎯 Your role As Production Manager, you will oversee daily production activities across multiple automated packaging lines, ensuring operational excellence, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction. 🔧 Key responsibilities ✅ Lead and coordinate day-to-day production operations across several automated packaging lines. ✅ Ensure the efficient performance of filling, sealing, palletising, and wrapping systems. ✅ Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors and operators. ✅ Foster a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. ✅ Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, and equipment performance. ✅ Monitor production KPIs and use data-driven decision-making to improve results. ✅ Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations. ✅ Ensure compliance with TOLSA's Health, Safety & Environment standards and Dutch regulations. ✅ Manage production plans, resources, budgets, and operational priorities. ✅ Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and competitiveness. 👤 What we're looking for 🎓 Education ✔ Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management or a related field. ✔ Master's degree is a plus. 💼 Experience ✔ Proven experience managing production operations within a manufacturing or process industry environment. ✔ Experience leading teams in automated production environments. ✔ Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence methodologies. ✔ Experience managing KPIs, production planning, cost control and process optimization. ✔ Track record of delivering operational improvements and building high-performing teams. ⭐ Skills & Competencies ✔ Strong leadership and people management skills. ✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. ✔ Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. ✔ Ability to drive change and continuous improvement. ✔ Strong organizational and decision-making skills. 🌍 Languages ✔ English (required) ✔ French is a plus ✔ Additional languages are welcome 🤝 Why join TOLSA? Core Responsibilities

Requirements

A degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field is required; a master's degree is a plus. Candidates should have proven manufacturing or process-industry production management experience, experience leading teams in automated environments, strong knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement, and a track record of improving operations and developing high-performing teams; English is required and French is a plus.
