The team You'll join the Mars Veterinary Health Europe (MVHE) Global Real Estate & Facilities Management (REFM) team, reporting to the Director of Site Health & Safety, Risk & Security. The role will work closely with country Health & Safety Managers and other relevant functions across our European veterinary network. Its focus is to provide a clear view of Health & Safety compliance requirements across countries, recognizing that legal obligations and practical controls may differ depending on the type of veterinary establishment, activities performed and local regulatory framework. The role will help connect EU, UK&I oversight with country-level implementation, supporting a consistent, risk-based and proportionate approach. What we're looking for Proven experience in Health & Safety compliance, regulatory affairs, legal compliance or a closely related role within a multi-site, multi-country or similarly complex organization. Recognized Health & Safety qualification (for example NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent). Strong ability to research, interpret and translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical and proportionate operational expectations. Excellent analytical, organizational and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with country Health & Safety Managers, operational leaders, legal teams and external specialists across different jurisdictions. Nice to have: Experience working across EU, UK&I regulatory environments is highly desirable. Nice to have: Veterinary, healthcare or other regulated-sector experience is an advantage. Core Responsibilities

Monitor regulatory changes and compliance obligations, and work with country Health and Safety managers and specialist teams to support local implementation while maintaining a common baseline.

Requirements

Candidates should have proven experience in Health and Safety compliance, regulatory affairs, legal compliance, or a related role in a complex, multi-site or multi-country organization, along with a recognized Health and Safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. Strong regulatory research and interpretation, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills are required; experience across EU and UK&I regulations or in veterinary, healthcare, or another regulated sector is advantageous.
