Job Description

Hours: Fulltime, 40 hours Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands The Position As Supply Chain Business Analyst you develop and synchronise Supply Chain processes and IT systems and manage Supply Chain development projects. You operate at the intersection of Supply Chain business processes, data and IT. Working closely with the business, you understand how processes work, identify opportunities for improvement and translate business needs into practical (improved) processes, models and technology solutions. You act as the bridge between business and IT, understanding the operational context in depth while ensuring requirements can be translated into effective solutions. Your role does not stop at developing a solution. You challenge existing ways of working, make complex solutions practical and user-friendly, and drive stakeholder engagement and adoption. You will join an international team of 4 colleagues, 2 based in The Netherlands and 2 in Sweden. Together with the team and colleagues across the business, you will quickly learn the specifics of our Supply Chain environment while taking ownership of your own projects and stakeholder relationships. Your Key Responsibilities Manage Supply Chain development and optimization projects from business need through implementation; Develop and synchronise Supply Chain processes, models and supporting IT systems, supporting the integration and alignment of our operations since the merger; Analyze processes and data to identify opportunities for optimization, simplification and harmonization; Translate business needs into clear functional and IT requirements, acting as the bridge between Supply Chain and IT; Coordinate projects with Supply Chain Optimization, Execution and Planning teams and VAROPreem IT teams, as well as external consultants and IT partners; Challenge existing ways of working and translate complex requirements into practical and user-friendly solutions; Drive successful implementation by creating stakeholder buy-in and supporting change management; Communicate effectively across the organization, from specialists to team leads and managers. Your Profile A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT or a related field; At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain business analysis, process improvement, IT development or a similar business–technology environment; Experience within the energy or oil & gas industry is a plus (not a must); Experience working at the intersection of business and IT, with the ability to understand business processes and translate needs into clear functional or technical requirements; Strong analytical skills and an affinity with data, models, technology and Supply Chain processes; A proactive and communicative personality who builds relationships easily, works across different departments and organizational levels, and is comfortable challenging stakeholders and speaking up when needed; A pragmatic mindset with the ability to turn complex challenges into clear, practical and user-friendly solutions, while building support for change and adoption; Professional proficiency in Dutch and English. Requirements

Candidates should have strong analytical and communication skills, experience bridging business and IT, and professional proficiency in Dutch and English; energy or oil and gas experience is a plus.
