For the Global Business Project Organization (BPO) department, DHL Express is looking for a motivated and results-oriented colleague who can support the development and administration of processes, tools and techniques within deployment projects that are included in the BPO roadmap, working closely with project managers. About BPO Our Global Business Project Organization (BPO) team has a global scope and is divided into two areas: Project Management and Business Analysts. Globally, our team consists of approximately 100 members located in Maastricht, Kuala Lumpur and Costa Rica. Our Project Management and Business Analyst teams focus on deploying systems, processes and tools across the Express Finance organization, with projects increasingly supporting Operations, Pricing and Sales. Working within BPO is challenging and rewarding as we collaborate across multiple functional areas and remain strongly focused on digitalization and automation, including data science and robotics. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for leading project teams to deliver projects that span one or more business units and functions. You will manage resources, schedules and budgets while ensuring compliance with stage-gate quality and control guidelines throughout the project lifecycle. You will manage project issues, risks and change requests to ensure successful and timely project delivery. In this role, you will have day-to-day ownership of projects and will be accountable for delivering agreed outcomes, within scope, budget and timeline, while achieving the benefits defined in the business case. Develop project plans that deliver required quality standards, on time and within budget. Implement project management plans and processes for successful end-to-end project delivery. Lead, direct and review the output of regional and local project managers and project teams. Identify and escalate deviations from project budgets. Track milestones and report progress against project plans. Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize delays. Develop and execute project risk mitigation plans. Ensure project benefits are aligned, realized and appropriately tracked. Analyze business processes and prioritize improvement initiatives and projects. Act as the liaison between project stakeholders and business leaders. Actively seek stakeholder feedback and challenge assumptions when appropriate. Present project plans and status updates to Project Boards and Steering Committees. Define project resource requirements and conduct post-implementation evaluations. Coach and support less experienced team members. Stay informed about industry developments, best practices and emerging technologies. Do you have what it takes? Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally in Finance, IT, Business or a related field. Strong finance process knowledge, including RTR, OTC, PTP and Cost Accounting. Project or Program Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2). Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a cross-functional mindset. Minimum 6 years of project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong awareness of industry trends and best practices. Requirements
A bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Finance, IT, Business, or a related field, along with strong knowledge of finance processes such as RTR, OTC, PTP, and Cost Accounting. Candidates need at least six years of successful project management experience, strong analytical and cross-functional thinking, and a project or program management certification such as PRINCE2.
