Role description Caffe Inc. is transitioning from a technology and product focused company into a commercially scaling business. We are therefore seeking an experienced Fractional Finance Lead (approximately 4 days per month) with a proven track record in startups, scale-ups, venture finance, and preferably experience in manufacturing, industrial biotech, circular economy, or deep-tech businesses. The Fractional Finance Lead will be responsible for: - Maintaining, updating, and further developing the company's financial model and long-term growth scenarios. - Managing monthly cash flow forecasts, liquidity planning, and runway management. - Professionalizing quarterly reporting to investors, lenders, and shareholders. - Supporting grant management, financing activities and financial compliance where needed. - Supporting the planned 2027 funding round through due diligence preparation, financial analyses, and coordination of the fundraising process. - Supporting the CEO in investor engagement and communications, including preparation for investor meetings, follow-up materials, and financial and commercial input throughout the funding process. - Providing strategic financial and commercial input to the management team in relation to key business decisions, investments, and growth initiatives. About you We are seeking a strategic Fractional Finance Lead with experience supporting startups and scale-ups through commercialization, growth, and fundraising. The ideal candidate has: - 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience (Finance Lead, Finance Director, or equivalent). - A proven track record in venture-backed startups and scale-ups. - Experience with fundraising, investor relations, closing deals and due diligence processes. - Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, cash flow management, and KPI reporting. - Experience preparing board, investor, and lender reporting packages. - Preferably experience in manufacturing, industrial biotech, circular economy, food-tech, or other deep-tech sectors. - The ability to act as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO, management team, and investors. - Approximately 4 days per month on average available, with flexibility to increase involvement during financing processes, investor due diligence, or other strategic projects. Core Responsibilities

Requirements
Requires 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience and a proven track record supporting venture-backed startups and scale-ups. Candidates should have fundraising, investor relations, due diligence, financial modeling, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting expertise; experience in manufacturing or deep-tech sectors is preferred.
