Internship - Fortino Capital Private Equity (NL/EN) Start Date: February 2027 Duration: 6 months (some flexibility if needed) Location: Amsterdam What awaits you? You'll get the chance to work alongside our Dutch Private Equity team gaining first-hand experience in the who and why we invest in some of the brightest B2B SaaS tech companies in Europe. Deep Dive into the Role: You will be assisting the partners and private equity investment-team in the deal-flow processes up to the negotiations with potential portfolio companies You will take care of the valuation and analysis of potential investment cases as well as related market, industry and technology deep-dives You will proactively research and analyse market and industry trends to identify the best private equity companies and management teams You will give operative support to portfolio companies in online marketing, company building, business development and sales You will create investment proposals and presentations for internal and external use About you: You are currently enrolled in, or have recently graduated from, a university program in finance, business, engineering, or a related field. You have a deep understanding of digital business-models combined with the analytical skill-set for data-based evaluation You already have some experience in private-equity/growth equity, high-growth start-ups, or in other fast-paced environments within investment banking or strategy-consulting environments You're a humble team player who is able to contribute to a positive work environment You'll be fluent in Dutch and have an excellent command of English coupled with strong interpersonal and digital communication skills You are able to work from Amsterdam at least 3-4 days a week About us: Fortino Capital is a leading B2B software Private Equity and Venture Capital investor with offices in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Munich, with a pan-European reach. Core Responsibilities

Support the partners and investment team throughout deal-flow processes, including valuation and analysis of potential investments and research into relevant markets, industries, and technologies. Develop investment proposals and presentations, identify promising companies and management teams, and provide operational support to portfolio companies in areas such as marketing, business development, and sales.

Requirements

Applicants should be enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in finance, business, engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of digital business models and analytical evaluation skills. Relevant experience in private equity, growth equity, high-growth startups, investment banking, or strategy consulting is sought, along with fluency in Dutch, excellent English, strong communication skills, and availability to work in Amsterdam at least 3–4 days per week.
