Job Description

Do you like seeing a machine grow from a technical drawing into a working system? Dutch machine builders are looking for experienced technicians who can assemble complete industrial machines and take them through testing and start-up. Work eligibility: EU/EEA or Swiss citizens, or candidates who already have the right to work in the Netherlands. What you'll do: Assemble machines and sub-assemblies from technical drawings and BOMs. Fit, align, and adjust mechanical components. Carry out internal testing, FAT, and SAT. Support commissioning and start-up. Report deviations and suggest improvements. Who we're looking for: +5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, or commissioning. Background as a machine builder, commissioning or field service technician, or aircraft maintenance mechanic. Confident reading technical drawings. Mechanical and, ideally, fine-mechanical skills. Technical education (EQF level 3/4; a technical bachelor's degree is a plus). Good English. Motivated to relocate and build a long-term career in the Netherlands. The offer: Full relocation support for international candidates, including housing, municipal registration, BSN, taxes, insurance, banking, and support with the 30% ruling where applicable. Paid training and certifications Optional Dutch lessons, travel allowance, tools, and PPE Pension scheme and holiday entitlement. 8% holiday allowance Personal consultant. Working hours: mostly day shifts; some roles 2 shifts; no weekends.

Core Responsibilities

Assemble complete industrial machines and sub-assemblies from technical drawings and bills of materials, fitting, aligning, and adjusting mechanical components. Conduct internal testing, FAT, and SAT; support commissioning and start-up; and report deviations and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Candidates need more than five years of experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, or commissioning, with experience as a machine builder, commissioning or field service technician, or aircraft maintenance mechanic. They should be confident reading technical drawings, have mechanical skills and ideally fine-mechanical skills, hold technical education at EQF level 3 or 4 (a technical bachelor's degree is a plus), speak good English, and be motivated to relocate to the Netherlands; applicants must already have eligible work authorization.
