Job Description

Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium is looking for a Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Finance team. Are you a master of craft? Main Duties Review and reconcile daily revenue postings from the Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems; Prepare and issue invoices for corporate accounts, events, group business and other approved receivables; Monitor guest ledger, city ledger and accounts receivable balances to ensure timely settlement; Follow up on outstanding payments with guests, travel agents, corporate clients and event organisers; Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputed charges and payment variances in a timely manner; Process and apply incoming payments accurately to customer accounts; Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledgers with the general ledger on a regular basis; Prepare aging reports and proactively manage overdue balances to minimise bad debt exposure; Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including revenue and receivable reconciliations; Maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation; Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Sales, Wellness, Food & Beverage and other operational departments regarding billing requirements and account settlements; Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and local statutory requirements, including VAT regulations; Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as required; Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Supervisor or Assistant Financial Controller. As Accounts Receivable, We Expect From You Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; At least 1–2 years experience in accounting, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment; exposure to luxury or international brands is an advantage; Good written and spoken English skills; Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Flexible and varied commitment to daily business; Discretion and loyalty. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Applicants should have a diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, plus 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality. Good written and spoken English, confidence using Microsoft Office—especially Excel—flexibility, discretion, and loyalty are expected; luxury or international brand experience is an advantage.
