About the job Looking for a finance role with real business impact? As Business Controller Logistics, you'll work closely with logistics and finance teams, shape key decisions, and help drive efficiency and performance across a dynamic and fast-moving supply chain. About The Job Our Primary Logistics organization focuses on all the logistic activities from Supply Point to our Sales Units. Within our scope we manage all activities around Transport, Warehousing, Documentation, Control Towers, Projects. We are active in 3 categories; Dairy, Plant based and Specialized Nutrition. For our finance department we are looking for a Business Controller Logistics, who together with the Senior Business Controller Logistics, your future manager, will be responsible for driving financial performance and providing business partnering support for our Dairy and Plant-Based logistics operations. What you need to do Manage, under the wing of a senior business controller, a few specific logistic control topics (e.g. warehouse, write-off or transport) Drive month-end closing, forecasting and annual planning activities for your scope. Animation of result with Business Teams Drive cost efficiency and productivity discussions and monitor savings initiatives Managing full Planning and Control cycle for your scope (Month close, Rolling Forecast and Standard Costing) Identify risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations What you will gain Exposure to an end-to-end logistics network across multiple categories and countries Opportunity to work closely with senior logistics and finance leaders Ownership of key financial processes and business-critical decisions A dynamic environment with opportunities to drive productivity, automation and continuous improvement initiatives Meet your future manager! Core Responsibilities
Manage assigned logistics finance topics and lead the planning and control cycle, including month-end closing, rolling forecasts, annual planning, and standard costing. Partner with business teams to explain financial results, improve cost efficiency and productivity, monitor savings, and turn risks and opportunities into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
The role calls for relevant business controller experience, strong Excel and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate the story behind financial results. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork, business partnering and influencing skills, attention to detail, a proactive continuous-improvement mindset, and a strong business perspective; experience with SAP, Microsoft Power tools, or Magnitude IPROview is preferred but not required.
