Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. As our Maintenance Sidekick, you'll support our Regional Maintenance & Asset Manager in ensuring smooth building operations. This includes executing internal repairs, managing stock supply, and responding to maintenance-related inquiries from departments and guests.


Your expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs will maintain a safe environment. You'll also collaborate with external contractors for complex projects, upholding quality and brand standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as our Maintenance Sidekick… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:


Be a smooth operator:
 You're hands-on and contribute to the performance of the preventative maintenance plan to ensure that our building is in its best shape. This includes identifying necessary materials and implementing them.


Love to troubleshoot: You'll act as the troubleshooter in case of issues arising throughout your day, this can range from executing common repairs, installing equipment and hardware, sanitary facilities, lightning, door mechanics, paintwork, and more.

Put the puzzle together: Your excellent problem-solving abilities will come into play as you respond to incoming requests, assessing the nature of each issue and prioritizing your task list while considering the impact on daily operations.



Be a true team player:
Work hand in hand with our Operations team to keep Zoku at its best. Share updates, coordinate maintenance around daily operations and lend a helping hand when needed. Whether you’re fixing a small snag or finding a smarter way of doing things, you understand how your work helps create welcoming spaces, smooth service and a great experience for our residents.

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You have first experience in a similar position with provable technical knowledge.

  • You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus.

  • You are an EU resident or have a valid working permit for The Netherlands.

  • You are fully flexible, no fixed working days / hours.

  • You are a great communicator and team-player.

  • You are available full-time for 40 hours/week.

Requirements

Candidates must have prior experience in a similar technical role and possess a solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Applicants must be fluent in English and hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
