We are Conscious Group! Conscious Group consists of nine hotel, four Hotel V locations, five Conscious Hotels locations, and two restaurants. Here, hospitality, design, and sustainability come together. Conscious Hotels focuses on sustainability down to the smallest detail, without compromising on comfort. While Hotel V is known for its stylish, characterful, and authentically Amsterdam vibe. Within Conscious Group, all locations work together as one team, driven by our FOCAL values: Fun, Open, Connect, Ambition, and Love. And now, Hotel V Nesplein is looking for a Front Office Intern. And sometimes, the quirkiest requests pop up: a bowl of only red M&Ms? A framed photo of Nicolas Cage in the room? With humor and creativity, you decide what’s possible and what’s not. A internship at Hotel V Nesplein means working in a lively, dynamic environment where you’re always learning something new and every day is different. Our hotel attracts a colorful mix of guests: from curious city travelers to seasoned business visitors. It’s the perfect opportunity to gain experience and show off your hospitality skills! About Conscious Hotels
Industry: Hospitality
Company size: 51-200 employees
Conscious Hotels is a stunning, sustainable hotel chain in the heart of Amsterdam and Utrecht, consisting of 5 hotels: Conscious Hotel Museum Square, Conscious Hotel Vondelpark, The Tire Station, Conscious Hotel Westerpark and Conscious Hotel Oudegracht. Also the organic food and beverage concepts Sticky Fingers and grab and go Conscious Café are part of the Conscious family. We strive to be as green, sustainable and eco-friendly as possible. But we don’t think sustainability needs to be shouted in your face. That’s why we take care of all the sustainable issues quietly in the background. And do it well. No fuss. We don’t make guests feel like they have to shower using only three teaspoons of water a day. We believe we can do good while looking good. So we’re happy to spend a lot of time getting our clean, contemporary looks right. Paying attention to even the smallest details. Does that make us sound vain? We’re just being kind to the planet and ourselves. Guests have the reassurance of knowing that the hotel is run on environmentally-sound principles and is Green Key Gold Certified. For example: the furniture comes from sustainable sources, all used materials are certified or recycled and cleaning is done without using chemicals.
