The opportunity As our new Medior Full Stack Developer, you'll play a key role in building and improving our SaaS platform. You'll work across the entire stack: from intuitive user interfaces in React to scalable APIs and backend services in Node.js, and AI features that turn HR data into real insights for managers and employees. Your average week in Utrecht: Shaping and building new features together with product and design Working in structured weekly sprints with your team Writing clean, scalable and maintainable code in TypeScript, React and Node.js Building and improving performant, secure REST APIs Contributing to technical discussions and architecture decisions Reviewing pull requests to keep quality high Improving developer workflows, CI/CD and automated testing Owning features from idea to deployment In short: your work directly makes our platform faster, smarter and more scalable, helping our customers grow and pushing Learned to the next level The team You'll join a development team of 6 developers in Utrecht, working closely with 11 colleagues in Sri Lanka through a buddy system that keeps lines short. The team is led by Alex, our CTO. We're an international company of 55 people (7+ nationalities) serving 350+ customers, increasingly at enterprise level. With the EU Pay Transparency Directive coming up, demand for our product is growing fast, and so is our roadmap. We work together at our Utrecht office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Core Responsibilities

Build and improve the SaaS platform across its frontend, backend, APIs, and AI features, owning product features from idea through deployment. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering colleagues, contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews, and improve performance, security, testing, and developer workflows.

Requirements

Candidates should have around three or more years of full-stack development experience and solid experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Express.js, as well as experience building or integrating AI product features. They must live in the Netherlands, work from the Utrecht office at least three days per week, communicate confidently in English, and demonstrate ownership, initiative, and a strong focus on user experience.
