Job Description

We are Conscious Group! Conscious Group consists of nine hotel, four Hotel V locations, five Conscious Hotels locations, and three restaurants. And right now, Conscious Hotel Westerpark is looking for an intern. During your internship, you are the friendly face of the hotel during your shift. You’ll gain experience with a variety of front desk tasks, such as checking in guests, assisting with the self check-in system, and sharing helpful tips about Amsterdam. You will also learn how to recommend services like bike rentals or sustainable products to guests. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to interact with guests, improve your communication skills, and learn how to prepare a good coffee or tea. Our front desk is not the only place where you’ll learn new skills, you’ll also get experience making coffees and frothing milk for cappuccinos. Core Responsibilities

Welcome guests during assigned shifts, assist with check-ins and the self check-in system, and share helpful recommendations about Amsterdam and hotel services. Prepare coffee and tea, including cappuccinos, while helping create a welcoming guest experience.

Requirements

Applicants should be passionate about the hotel industry and sustainability, and available for an internship of at least five months starting in January, February, or March. Good English and preferably living in or near Amsterdam are expected; enthusiasm for experiencing varied hotel shifts is also desired.
