Build the software behind energy, biotech and AI companies, with your mornings, evenings and weekends free to enjoy Bali. 4–6 months · 25-hour week, 11 AM–5 PM · lunch Monday to Friday · unpaid · next start: 1 November 2026 (we hire on a rolling basis, later starts are possible) WHAT YOU'LL DO Build software for our portfolio companies: internal tools, dashboards, data pipelines, and APIs that connect AI and hardware systems. You'll write and review code, ship features, fix bugs, and work with engineers across teams on real products, not exercises. WHO WE ARE Thirty years building companies across New York, London, and Tokyo, now operating from a 4,000 sqm campus in Canggu. $150M+ raised and deployed across energy, bioproduction, and AI infrastructure. Depending on team needs and your interests, you may work on: Zero-X: thermochemical conversion and distributed energy, 200+ systems live across 11 countries Seraph Group: decentralized bioproduction combining AI, robotics, and synthetic biology Gemino AI: safe reinforcement learning for industrial control, plus Project Maya, a wearable AI platform WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH Shipped software you can show in your portfolio An internship certificate Full support with university requirements: we handle the paperwork and join meetings with your university An international community of interns and engineers A path to a full-time role across the group for strong interns WHAT IT COSTS This internship is unpaid. Indonesian visa rules for internships require it, so we can't offer stipends or scholarships. You cover your own flights, visa, and living costs. Lunch is on us Monday to Friday, and rooms on campus are available at competitive rates. Living in Bali typically costs about €500–1,000 per month, depending on your lifestyle. WHO YOU ARE Studying, or recently graduated in, computer science, software engineering, or a related field Programming experience in any language (Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, or similar) and basic Git Curious, reliable, and ready to work on-site in Bali for 4–6 months You don't need to know our stack. If you've built something and want to see how software works inside real companies, apply. This internship can count toward a university requirement.
