Job Description

Are you looking to develop your career in Finance while making a real impact on the growth of Verisure? For our Finance team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Junior Business Controller who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing business performance and turning financial data into meaningful insights. As part of our FP&A team, you will work closely with the Manager Business Control and fellow Business Controller. You will support different business units and the Management Team by providing financial analysis, insights and information to support business decisions. Your Responsibilities Financial & Business Analysis Perform regular and ad-hoc financial and business analyses Analyse the performance of different business units and key performance indicators (KPIs) Translate financial results into clear and actionable insights Prepare financial analyses and forecasts to support business decisions Identify trends, developments and opportunities to improve business performance Support Business Units and the Management Team with financial insights and analysis Finance & Reporting Support the monthly financial closing process Ensure financial information is accurate and delivered on time Support the preparation of financial reports Contribute to the accuracy and reliability of reported financial results Support financial administration and internal controls Help ensure that financial information is complete, accurate and compliant with relevant guidelines Business Support Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Planning and Sales on financial processes and analyses Support internal stakeholders with financial and business-related questions Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and the efficiency of business decisions Provide financial insights that help the business make informed decisions What You Bring You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or a related field 1–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Business Control, Accounting or a similar role Good understanding of accounting, reporting and business analysis Strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data, KPIs and financial results Accurate, structured and have a strong eye for detail Organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities Proactive, committed and hands-on in your approach Strong communication skills and can explain financial information clearly to different audiences Advanced Excel skills and are comfortable working with data and financial models Experience with an ERP system is a plus; experience with Oracle is an advantage You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus What do we offer? Core Responsibilities

Conduct regular and ad hoc financial and business analyses, assess business-unit performance and KPIs, and turn financial results into actionable insights and forecasts. Support monthly closing, reporting, financial administration and internal controls, while partnering with business units and departments to improve decisions and processes.

Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or a related field is required, along with 1–2 years of relevant experience and a good understanding of accounting, reporting and business analysis. Candidates should have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, advanced Excel ability, and fluency in English; ERP experience is a plus, Oracle experience is an advantage, and Dutch is a plus.
