Job Description
Key Responsibilities 1. Production Planning & Scheduling Support (~40%) Support daily production planning and weekly/monthly rolling scheduling; track capacity loading and order fulfillment; Provide process-side support for production stability and product realization, including process parameter confirmation, batch deviation handling, and on-site coordination of bottleneck steps such as filtration and filling; Work with the supply chain team to implement backlog-clearance, batch-size optimization, and changeover-loss reduction initiatives on site. 2. China-Netherlands Technology Transfer & Upgrade Project Coordination (~60%) Act as the resident liaison between the China process engineering team and the Ede plant, coordinating on-site technical work, including process documentation, equipment condition verification, and pilot/trial-run coordination; Coordinate technical upgrade projects: ; Track investment budget execution , and coordinate on-site logistics and technical material preparation during China-based engineers' visits to Ede; Support preparation of compliance documentation related to the hazardous process relocations, including phased relocation submissions to Dutch regulatory authorities. Requirements Master's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field; Prior experience in fine/specialty chemical production processes, kettle/reactor operations, or process engineering design is preferred; Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written), able to independently handle technical document translation and on-site communication between China and Netherlands teams; Dutch language ability is a strong plus; Strong cross-functional and cross-cultural coordination skills; able to work independently with multiple teams across China and Europe; Familiarity with hazardous chemical processes and basic EHS requirements preferred; experience in equipment selection or project engineering follow-up is a plus; Willing to be based on-site in Ede, Netherlands, and able to accommodate communication across the China-Netherlands time difference.
Core Responsibilities
Support production planning, scheduling, process stability, batch handling, and on-site improvements to capacity, batch sizes, and changeover losses. Coordinate technology transfer and upgrade projects between China and the Ede plant, including technical documentation, equipment checks, trial runs, budget tracking, and regulatory submissions.
Requirements
A master's degree or higher in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field is required, with experience in fine or specialty chemical production, reactor operations, or process engineering preferred. The role requires fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English, strong cross-cultural coordination, and willingness to work on-site in Ede; Dutch, hazardous-process familiarity, and equipment or project engineering experience are advantages.
