About the Role Tandartspraktijk Palladino is looking for a motivated Practice Operations Intern to support the daily operations of our dental practice in Amsterdam. This role combines practice administration, patient communication and operational support, with a particular focus on assisting and welcoming our Ukrainian-speaking patients. You will work closely with the practice management team, dentists and dental assistants to help ensure that the clinic operates efficiently and that patients receive clear and professional support throughout their visit. Main Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the daily operations of the dental practice Welcoming patients and assisting with front-desk activities Providing dedicated support to Ukrainian-speaking patients Communicating with Ukrainian-speaking patients by phone, WhatsApp, email and in person Helping patients understand appointment procedures, treatment-related administrative information and practice procedures Assisting with translation and communication between Ukrainian-speaking patients and the practice team when necessary Scheduling, confirming and rescheduling patient appointments Supporting patient registration and administrative processes Maintaining accurate patient and appointment information in the practice management system Helping the team manage appointment schedules and follow-ups Supporting patient recall and communication activities Assisting with general administrative and operational tasks Supporting practice management with day-to-day projects and process improvements Helping ensure a professional, organised and patient-friendly environment within the clinic Requirements We are looking for someone who: Speaks Ukrainian fluently Has good working proficiency in English Dutch language skills are an advantage but are not mandatory Is currently studying or looking for a relevant internship in areas such as business, healthcare management, hospitality, administration, communication or a related field Is comfortable communicating with patients Is organised, responsible and detail-oriented Is comfortable working with computers and learning new software Has good communication and interpersonal skills Can work independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Is interested in healthcare operations and practice management Previous experience in a dental practice or healthcare environment is not required. Training on our internal systems and workflows will be provided. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Applicants must speak Ukrainian fluently and have good working proficiency in English; Dutch is an advantage but not required. They should be studying or seeking an internship in a relevant field and be organised, responsible, comfortable communicating with patients and using computers, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
