About Inframotion 3D: Inframotion 3D is a fast-growing company with a young and dynamic team specializing in industrial additive manufacturing (3D printing). We supply international B2B customers with refurbished EOS SLS & DMLS printing systems, preventative maintenance services, upgrades, and high-quality industrial polymer & metal powders. As our international customer base continues to grow, we are looking for a technically skilled and hands-on Field Service Technician to strengthen our service team. The Role: As a Field Service Technician, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial 3D printing systems at customer locations across Europe and occasionally beyond. You do not need previous experience with 3D printing. We are looking for someone with a strong technical mindset, practical problem-solving skills, and the motivation to learn. We will provide the training needed to become a specialist in industrial SLS and metal 3D printing systems. This is a role for someone who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, and travelling internationally. Key Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on industrial 3D printing systems at customer sites. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues and carry out repairs. Machine Installation: Support the installation, commissioning, calibration, and relocation of industrial 3D printers. Customer Support: Work directly with customers to diagnose technical issues and explain repairs or recommendations. Technical Reporting: Document service work, findings, replaced components, and machine condition. International Travel: Regularly travel to customer locations throughout Europe and occasionally further abroad. Who We Are Looking For You have a strong technical aptitude and enjoy understanding how machines work. A background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, automotive technology, or a similar technical field is an advantage. Practical experience working with machinery, electronics, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment is highly valued. You are comfortable troubleshooting problems independently and taking responsibility for your work. You communicate comfortably in English. Dutch and/or German are a strong plus. You have a valid driving licence. You are willing and able to travel internationally at least 2 weeks per month on average. This is an essential part of the position. Previous experience with 3D printing is not required. They must communicate comfortably in English, hold a valid driving licence, live within commuting distance of Rotterdam, and be willing and able to travel internationally for an average of at least two weeks per month.
