Role Description The Lead Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Zoetermeer, responsible for overseeing daily operations within the local facility. This role includes coordinating team schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring workflow to ensure timely and accurate order processing, inventory handling, and logistics support. The Lead Supervisor provides hands-on guidance to team members, supports training and development, and promotes safe, efficient work practices aligned with company policies and quality standards. The position also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, reporting operational metrics, addressing process issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong presence on the floor, clear communication, and a focus on service excellence for internal and external customers. Qualifications Leadership and supervision skills, including team coordination, performance monitoring, and coaching. Operational and logistics experience, such as workflow management, inventory handling, and process optimization. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety. Experience in a laboratory, chemical, or manufacturing environment is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Zoetermeer and maintain a consistent full-time schedule. Proficiency with standard office and operational software; familiarity with digital procurement or inventory systems is a plus. Relevant vocational or bachelor’s degree in operations, logistics, science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Core Responsibilities

Oversee daily facility operations, coordinate schedules and task assignments, and monitor order processing, inventory handling, and logistics workflows. Coach and train team members, promote safe and efficient practices, report operational metrics, resolve process issues, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

Requires leadership and supervision capabilities, operational or logistics experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a focus on quality and safety. A vocational or bachelor’s degree in operations, logistics, science, or a related field—or equivalent experience—is requested; laboratory, chemical, or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
