As a Cyber Security Engagement Manager, you are relationship owner for a strategic cyber security portfolio within a large Dutch technology enterprise. You will be responsible for managing and growing the relationship at customer which includes build relationship, improve services, create demand, and expand services across portfolio by aligning cyber outcomes to business priorities—while ensuring the engagement delivers measurable results through strong governance and operational excellence. You serve as the customer’s single point of contact for security services delivery and escalations, and you actively identify and support customer in their new initiatives Your responsibilities: 1) CISO-level strategy alignment & executive influence Build trusted, high-impact relationships with the CISO and senior business stakeholders to understand enterprise roadmap, risk appetite, and business priorities—and translate them into a growth and delivery plan. Lead executive conversations that connect security initiatives to business value (resilience, compliance, uptime, productivity, risk reduction). 2) Cyber security services leadership Drive and establish TCS’s though leadership in cyber security services through account planning, provide insight about TCS services, understand customer requirements and map to TCS services, and conversion around how TCS can support Drive and demonstrate services delivery and maturity to customers as well as internal organization 3) Portfolio positioning with customer cyber technical leadership Engage customer technical leaders (CISO org, security architects, domain heads) to position a comprehensive cyber security portfolio across advisory, implementation, and managed services / security-as-a-service. Create compelling, differentiated propositions tailored to the customer landscape, including domains such as IAM, IGA, PAM, network security, vulnerability scanning/remediation, security administration , information protection, crypto/key management, and broader security operations capabilities. Orchestrate SMEs to build a “boardroom narrative” that ties capabilities to prioritized outcomes and measurable KPIs. 4) Lead large engagements across implementation + operations Own the end-to-end engagement lifecycle—from solutioning and transition to delivery and steady-state operations—across multi-tower, distributed delivery models. Establish and run strong governance: operating reviews, executive steering, escalations, risks/dependencies, and continual improvement—ensuring predictable delivery and customer confidence. 5) Framework and process credibility (enterprise-grade) Bring hands-on exposure to leading cyber security frameworks and standard processes to enable credible stakeholder dialogue, defensible delivery, and audit-ready operations (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, COBIT; ITIL-aligned service management). Required experience & qualifications: 10+ years’ experience driving growth for cyber security services in enterprise environments (managed services, consulting, integration, transformation). Proven executive stakeholder management—successfully influencing and partnering with CISO/CxO stakeholders. Demonstrated track record of owning large cyber engagements, including implementation + operations, with strong governance and escalation leadership. Broad cyber domain understanding with ability to coordinate across security service areas (e.g., assessments, security roadmap, architecture, SOC operations, ISO implementation, vulnerability assessment, and IGA/PAM). Exceptional communication skills: executive storytelling, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Dutch speaking professional level/Fluent in English is a must. Preferred / differentiators: Certifications such as CISSP / CISM / CCSP / ISO 27001 LA/LI / ITIL / PMP/PRINCE2. Experience operating in regulated, high-availability technology environments and multi-vendor ecosystems in Europe. Own and grow a strategic cybersecurity customer relationship, aligning security services with CISO-level priorities and positioning advisory, implementation, and managed-service capabilities. Lead large engagements from solutioning and transition through operations, maintaining strong governance, executive communication, escalation management, and continual improvement.
Requirements
Requires 10+ years of experience growing cybersecurity services in enterprise environments, proven CISO/CxO stakeholder influence, and ownership of large engagements spanning implementation and operations. Candidates need broad cybersecurity knowledge, excellent executive communication and negotiation skills, and professional-level Dutch with fluent English; relevant certifications and experience in regulated European environments are preferred.
