Process Engineer CDC JUMBO We offer you a high-tech and innovative work environment within a state-of-the-art automated distribution centre a challenging and impactful engineering role with a choice between a 38-hour dayshift workweek or a 35-hour shift schedule a competitive monthly salary and an attractive benefits package excellent training, development, and career growth opportunities the stability of an international family-owned company and market leader in logistics automation the opportunity to contribute directly to continuous improvement and operational excellence Your role in our team monitor, analyze, and optimize the daily performance and reliability of the automated logistics system at our customer location (CDC JUMBO) identify root causes of system disruptions through data analysis and drive sustainable solutions analyze system performance and implement operational improvements in close collaboration with PLC programmers perform targeted monitoring of control room screens, BWOS, and other mission-critical systems prepare daily reports and checklists and ensure timely follow-up of service tickets report directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager and proactively recommend optimization opportunities work independently while collaborating closely with the Control Room, Continuous Improvement, and Technical Services teams support production and technical teams during escalations, maintenance activities, and cleaning schedules by coordinating machine availability perform system recovery activities in case of server failures and ensure continuous monitoring of order flow, material flow, and operational performance Ideal candidate profile you are proactive, solution-oriented, and enjoy taking initiative vocational qualification (EQF Level 4) or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. you have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within logistics, automation, manufacturing, intralogistics, or the automotive industry you have knowledge of and experience with PLC-controlled systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) you have a pragmatic and hands-on approach you work accurately and thrive in a dynamic operational environment you communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing knowledge of Dutch is an advantage, but not required you are eager to continuously learn, improve, and contribute to operational excellence Unsere Benefits in Nieuwegein Deine Vorteile auf einen Blick. Requirements

Applicants need a vocational qualification at EQF Level 4 or a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and at least one year of experience in a similar role. Experience with PLC-controlled systems and Warehouse Management Systems is expected, along with a hands-on approach and effective spoken and written English; Dutch is an advantage but not required.
