For our Manufacturing Technology team location Dordrecht, Chemours is looking for Process Engineer FEP Do you want to make a difference in an innovative, international production environment where sustainability and collaboration are key? As a Manufacturing Technology Engineer within our FEP business, you will play a key role in improving one of Chemours' most advanced fluoropolymer production assets. Your work will directly contribute to safer operations, sustainable manufacturing, and products used in technologies that power the world's energy transition and semiconductor industry. Main Duties & Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Technology Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our FEP production unit. You will work daily with colleagues from Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Technology to solve process issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to safety, quality, productivity, and sustainability. Your main responsibilities: Provide technical support in case of malfunctions, modifications, and process safety activities (PSM). Lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement projects. Coordinate technical reviews and safety analyses (such as PHAs, MOCs, PSSRs). Initiate and implement process changes aimed at improving safety, quality, sustainability, and/or reducing costs. Analyse process and operational data to identify improvement opportunities. Support project proposals and investments to achieve maximum reliability and minimum life cycle costs. Draft, review, and improve procedures and technical documentation. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a comparable field. Several years of relevant experience in production or process engineering Experience with polymerization processes, fluorochemicals, or reliability engineering is an advantage. Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn. Strong communication and analytical skills. Experience with process safety (PSM), statistical process control, or data analysis is a plus. Proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

A master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a comparable field is required, along with several years of relevant production or process engineering experience; exceptional early-career candidates are also encouraged to apply. Fluency in English, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines are expected; Dutch, polymerization or fluorochemical experience, reliability engineering, process safety, and data analysis are advantageous.
