As a member of Development Services team, you will be interacting very closely with product development teams, in different regions across the globe. Your Job We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer with AI expertise to help drive secure software delivery, AI-enabled application security, and DevSecOps automation across enterprise engineering platforms. The role will focus on integrating AI-assisted security controls into CI/CD pipelines, improving software supply chain security, implementing AI-powered code scanning capabilities, and enabling secure adoption of AI development platforms such as GitLab Duo Agentic Platform and related AI engineering capabilities Key Responsibilities DevSecOps Engineering - Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines. - Integrate security, testing, and compliance controls into development workflows. - Promote DevSecOps best practices and secure software delivery. - Ensure alignment with organizational standards, regulations, and audit requirements. AI-Powered Application Security - Implement AI-assisted code scanning and security review capabilities. - Evaluate and integrate AI security tools into the SDLC. - Support secure coding practices and vulnerability identification. - Define guardrails for AI-enabled software development. Software Supply Chain Security - Implement SBOM and software composition analysis practices. - Strengthen dependency, package, and artifact security. - Improve vulnerability management and supply chain risk controls. AI Security & Governance - Establish controls for secure and compliant use of LLMs and AI tools. - Support AI governance, monitoring, auditing, and policy enforcement. - Enable secure AI adoption across engineering teams. Automation & Platform Engineering - Automate security, compliance, and remediation processes. - Drive platform standardization and engineering efficiency. - Collaborate with Security, Architecture, Risk, and Development teams. Enablement & Collaboration - Support platform onboarding, migrations, and adoption initiatives. - Deliver training and guidance on GitLab, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices. - Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across teams Requirements Experience • Strong hands on experience with GitLab CI/CD • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps. • Proven experience implementing CI/CD platforms at enterprise scale. • Hands-on experience with application security and vulnerability management. • Experience integrating security controls into software delivery pipelines. Core Responsibilities

Design and improve secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating application security, compliance, AI-assisted code scanning, and software supply chain controls such as SBOM practices. Establish governance and guardrails for AI tools, automate security processes, and support platform adoption, training, and collaboration across engineering teams.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps, strong hands-on GitLab CI/CD experience, and experience implementing enterprise-scale CI/CD platforms. Candidates should also have practical experience with application security, vulnerability management, pipeline security controls, software supply chain security, GenAI, LLM security, AI governance, and agentic workflows.
