Job Description
As a Supply Chain Planner, you are responsible for creating and maintaining optimal planning for our Breda factory, VMI locations and UK warehouse. You ensure product availability, balance service and cost, and collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent supply chain performance. What you'll be responsible for: Breda Production Planning Create and maintain optimal short-, medium-, and long-term production and capacity plan for the Breda factory (Extrusion and FS packing) Manage material supply plans to support production requirements Assure aligned and synchronized planning of Bulk Breda and Holten retail packing Coordinate inbound, outbound and intercompany logistics flows between Breda and cold storage locations VMI Supply Planning Ensure OTIF replenishment while optimizing service levels, stock availability and obsolete management Coordinate production and logistics planning with Albert Heijn and GXO operation Align packaging plan with the Holten Retail Planner, esp. promotions Coordinate logistics and planning activities UK Supply Planning Ensure OTIF replenishment for Culina UK while maintaining optimal inventory levels Coordinate production and logistics planning with the Holten planning team and Culina UK Monitor inventory performance and proactively manage risks and constraints Stakeholder alignment with Sales UK and demand planning Coordinate in- and out phasing and promotions Continuous Improvement & Reporting Optimize planning processes in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance Identify process inefficiencies and implement practical solutions Prepare and develop periodic planning and performance reports Support OTIF delivery while minimizing obsolescence and waste What you'll do Develop and manage production, supply, and replenishment plans Coordinate supply chain activities across Breda, Holten, VMI, and UK operations Monitor inventory, service levels, and production performance Collaborate with logistics providers, manufacturing teams, and commercial stakeholders Maintain VMI module and planning parameters Identify risks and opportunities and proactively drive improvement initiatives Support and back up the wider SC Planning team in Holten What you'll bring HBO or WO work and thinking level 3+ years of experience in planning, logistics, customer service or supply chain Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes Proven ability to use data and numerical analysis for decision-making and problem-solving Experience with planning and ERP systems such as Exact and Slim4 Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing Continuous improvement mindset Key requirements Experience with production planning, supply planning, or inventory management Strong stakeholder management skills Pro-active attitude and customer focused communication Ability to balance customer service, inventory, and operational efficiency Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Why apply for this role? In this role, you will take ownership of planning activities across our Breda production site, VMI customers and UK operations, working closely with manufacturing, logistics, sales and external partners to ensure excellent service levels and supply chain performance. The role requires HBO or WO-level work and thinking capability, fluency in Dutch and English, experience with planning or ERP systems such as Exact and Slim4, strong stakeholder skills, and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
