What you do as a Senior Project Manager As Senior Project Manager, you will be the link between the client and our experts. You have to be able to inspire teams and clients alike, providing the leadership needed to turn ambitions into successful outcomes. We bring our technology to market in so-called technology packages, which include basic design, and commissioning and start-up support for our technology and delivery of in-house developed controller software. Together with your project team, you will deliver our projects. Our clients include water utilities contractors and consultants all around the world. With an enthusiastic, proactive approach you will ensure that all parties can be proud of the final result. You will be the client's first point of contact and you will lead the internal team and set the direction for the project, taking overall responsibility for its integrated delivery. To thrive as Senior Project Manager, you will have the following qualities: You have a technical background, and continually seek an appropriate way of working, striking a good balance between project control aspects, scope and risks; You have successfully completed your Bachelor or Master in a technical degree and have at least eight years' experience as a project manager on multidisciplinary projects; working experience in the Middle East works to your advantage; You have worked for a contractor or you have at least a contractor mindset; You are solutions-focused, practical, entrepreneurial, people-oriented and results-driven; You are proactive and have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English; Speaking other languages like Spanish, Italian or French works to your advantage. You are based in The Netherlands, and able to travel (when required) both nationally and internationally. Core Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client contact and lead internal project teams delivering water technology packages, including basic design, commissioning and start-up support, and in-house controller software. Take overall responsibility for integrated project delivery, setting project direction and balancing scope, control, and risks to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements
A technical bachelor's or master's degree and at least eight years of project management experience on multidisciplinary projects are required; contractor experience or a contractor mindset is expected, and Middle East experience is advantageous. Candidates should be based in the Netherlands, able to travel nationally and internationally, and communicate proactively in Dutch and English; Spanish, Italian, or French is an advantage.
