Job Description

A Snapshot of Your Day As a Senior/Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing low-scale customer projects up to €40M for our Irish Grid Technology Transformer and Switchgear Order Execution business based in Dublin This will include installation and commissioning, according to the defined Project Excellence Standards (PE@SE), customer requirements, applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG), and respective legal and tax guidance. You will manage the project throughout its lifecycle until final acceptance (FAC), driving the project as your own through corresponding signature authorization and target agreements. Your role will involve decision-making, handling milestones, adhering to budgets, and initiating actions to minimize non-conformance costs. You will also support the setup and maintenance of the Siemens Energy Project Management Plan, ensuring effective communication with customers and relevant stakeholders. You will also be responsible for ensuring a high quality forecast, up to date and accurate cost monitors for the key projects and you will be responsible for accurate books and records within your area. How You’ll Make An Impact Manage the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines while driving project execution and quality. Support the setup of the Siemens Energy Project Management Plan, including the Quality Management Plan, and ensure proper handover from Proposal/Sales to execution. Build and maintain direct contact with customers, managing expectations and resolving issues while clarifying targets and requirements. Live full responsibility for financial results, ensuring accuracy in cost and pricing calculations, and optimizing project cash flow. Assess and manage contracts, negotiate change requests, and identify, drive, and mitigate claims and risks throughout the project. What You’ll Bring CPM qualifications or equivalent experience in project management or accountancy qualifications. Proven experience in managing low-scale projects within the energy sector, particularly in installation and commissioning. Strong understanding of project management principles, financial reporting, and compliance procedures. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
