Job Description
Medior Mechanical Engineer HallTech B.V. | Eindhoven, High Tech Campus | Full-time About HallTech HallTech is a deep-tech startup building a new thin-film deposition platform for next-generation semiconductor manufacturing. We operate at the intersection of plasma physics, vacuum engineering, and advanced materials. We are scaling from a working proof-of-concept to a fab-ready system out of our R&D lab on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. The role You will design the parts that make our deposition platform work, from first drawings to tested hardware. Vacuum components, source assemblies, fixtures, and the thermal-mechanical details that decide whether a system performs. Your CAD package is your daily craft. You work in the mechanical team led by our Senior Mechanical Engineer, and you take ownership of your own parts and assemblies. This role exists because we are scaling from a working proof-of-concept to a fab-ready system. The physics works. The next phase is turning rapid hardware iterations into a manufacturable platform. What you will do • Design parts and assemblies in CAD, from concept to fabrication drawings • Solve vacuum and thermal-mechanical problems at part and assembly level • Support analysis, assembly, and test of what you design • Work with machine shops and suppliers to get parts made right What we are looking for • BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or a related field • 6+ years designing high-precision systems that shipped • Hands-on mechanical design experience on real hardware • Fast, precise command of a CAD package • Experience with vacuum and thermal-mechanical problems. A must. • Semiconductor equipment experience. A must. • High agency and eager to learn fast in a startup Nice to have • FEA experience • GD&T and tolerance stack-ups • Experience with thin-film deposition tools or plasma sources What we offer • A role in a company solving one of the hardest problems in semiconductor manufacturing • Real ownership of hardware that takes our platform from lab to fab • Base salary from €70,000 gross per year • A small, expert team where your work is visible and consequential • Meaningful equity participation • A workspace on High Tech Campus Eindhoven, with relocation support available Interested?
