Job Description
Shape the future of e-commerce and digital marketing by joining our digital team! Bring your digital (marketing) expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to the table, and let's create exceptional omni-channel experiences together. Share your talents Share your Talentes As Technical Web & App Analyst, you will own and continuously improve the technical analytics foundation across our web and mobile app ecosystem. Within our Digital & Customer Insights team, you translate business objectives and customer journeys into GA4 measurement plans, event taxonomies, conversion definitions, data layer schemas and implementation-ready tracking specifications. You work closely with Product, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Data and Privacy to embed analytics into the product development lifecycle, from solution design and refinement through release validation and production monitoring. As our digital architecture evolves towards Headless Commerce, Single Page Applications and server-side tracking, you ensure that events, parameters, user properties, consent signals and attribution data are captured and distributed accurately across analytics and marketing platforms. You will investigate complex discrepancies across client-side and server-side data flows, validate implementations against the measurement plan, and establish the governance needed to keep our data reliable, scalable, and privacy-conscious. By combining deep technical analytics expertise with pragmatic stakeholder advice, you help teams measure the right interactions and turn trustworthy behavioural data into better digital decisions. In This Role, You Will Define GA4 measurement plans, event taxonomies, conversion logic, parameter conventions and data layer schemas for web and mobile app customer journeys. Translate functional requirements into technical tracking specifications for Single Page Applications, Headless Commerce platforms, native app environments and client-side and server-side implementations. Validate releases by inspecting data layer pushes, network requests, API payloads, consent states, event parameters, user properties and downstream data availability in GA4, Firebase and BigQuery. Configure and govern measurement across Google Tag Manager client-side and server-side containers, Firebase, Appsflyer and OneTrust, including conversion tracking, attribution-relevant data and third-party data sharing. Troubleshoot data-quality issues across browsers, devices, platforms and environments, perform root-cause analysis and maintain documentation, QA procedures and measurement governance. Bring all of you What you Bring You are a technically curious digital analytics professional who understands how data moves through modern websites and mobile applications. You are comfortable moving between a measurement plan, a JavaScript data layer, browser developer tools, tag-manager configurations, API payloads and data tables to establish where an implementation or data flow is breaking down. You understand the implications of asynchronous navigation, route changes and component rendering within a Single Page Application, as well as the differences between client-side collection, server-side tagging and mobile app analytics. At the same time, you can step away from the implementation details and explain to stakeholders which interactions should be measured, how the resulting data supports a business decision and where privacy or data-quality risks need to be addressed. You approach technical problems systematically, document your decisions and prioritise measurement work according to customer and business value rather than trying to track every possible interaction. To Be Successful In This Role, You Bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Technical Web Analytics, App Analytics or a comparable digital measurement role. Have practical experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Firebase, Appsflyer, OneTrust and BigQuery, including analytics implementation, debugging and validation. Can work with JavaScript, HTML, APIs, SQL, JSON objects, browser developer tools, network requests and structured data layer implementations. Understand event-driven tracking across Single Page Applications, Headless Commerce environments, mobile applications and server-side architectures, including consent and attribution dependencies. Can convert business and customer-journey requirements into precise technical specifications and discuss implementation details confidently with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
