Product Owner Cloud Platform Groenlo, Netherlands 32 - 38 hrs € 5.000 - € 7.000 Hybrid What are you going to do? Within Nedap Tech Platform, Cloud Platform helps development teams build and run software with confidence. The team creates the secure, compliant, and scalable capabilities behind our customer-facing applications: from landing zones in private and public cloud environments to core networking, zero-trust security, and container runtimes. As Product Owner Cloud Platform, you give direction to this foundation. Together with a Technical Lead and a team of specialists, you turn a broad platform ambition into clear choices. This helps engineers spend less time working around infrastructure challenges and more time improving their products. You balance what teams need today with the modernization needed to reduce operational pressure over time. You work closely with the Governance team (consisting of Product, Delivery, and Adoption Managers) to make sure that what we build is genuinely adopted across Nedap. Start your application Your responsibilities You make it easier for development teams across Nedap to use reliable cloud capabilities, without having to solve the same underlying challenges themselves. Translate platform strategy, the needs of development teams, and technical insights into a clear roadmap and backlog. Make deliberate trade-offs between operational work, reliability, security, and structural modernization. Help turn recurring infrastructure work into standardized capabilities that teams can use independently. Align the team, the Governance team, and development teams around the choices that move Cloud Platform forward. Create rhythm, clarity, and a healthy environment in which team members can take ownership and develop their craft. Your team You will join Cloud Platform, one of the four teams within Nedap Tech Platform and part of Foundry. Foundry brings together the shared technology, platforms, and ways of working that help Nedap’s business units build faster, better, and as one. Under the leadership of our CTO, Foundry connects Nedap Tech Platform with AI enablement, cybersecurity, FinOps, business automation, and shared design principles. Together, the NTP teams strengthen hosting, observability, data, and developer enablement for Nedap’s software solutions. Cloud Platform combines deep technical expertise with the practical question of what development teams need to build safely and move quickly. You will have the freedom to shape your role and approach, while learning alongside a Technical Lead and experienced specialists. The Governance team helps connect strategy, delivery, and adoption, so the capabilities you develop are not only technically strong, but also genuinely useful across Nedap. As a Product Owner, you help set priorities and create clarity around capacity needs. You ask the questions that clarify what matters, make choices when priorities compete, and stay curious about how cloud and platform engineering can make other teams more effective. You work openly with colleagues and take responsibility for moving things forward. Product Owner experience. You have experience as a Product Owner, Tech Lead, or in a similar role in a technical environment. Technical affinity. You understand the challenges around cloud and platform engineering, such as infrastructure, security, developer experience, and reliability. Product strategy and prioritization. You can translate technical challenges into clear priorities and explain the trade-offs to different stakeholders. People leadership. Experience coaching or leading colleagues is an advantage, not a requirement. Language skills. You communicate fluently in English; Dutch is welcome. Good to know: You are available for 32 to 38 hours per week. Hybrid working is common at Nedap, and you and your team can coordinate your working hours to achieve a healthy work-life balance. You will be present at our Campus in Groenlo at least twice a week. Set the direction and roadmap for Cloud Platform, translating platform strategy, development-team needs, and technical insights into prioritized work. Balance operational needs, reliability, security, and modernization while aligning stakeholders and fostering team ownership and adoption.

Requirements

Experience as a Product Owner, Tech Lead, or in a similar technical role, with an understanding of cloud and platform engineering challenges. Able to prioritize technical work, explain trade-offs to stakeholders, and communicate fluently in English; people leadership experience is an advantage but not required.
