Summary Of The Role Internship Asset Management from February 2027 onwards €500 gross monthly compensation Working at Schiedam, The Netherlands Are you an ambitious HBO student in Asset Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or a related field? Are you looking for a challenging internship where you can make a real impact on the future of asset management within a global industry leader? Mammoet is looking for an intern who will help shape the implementation of the ISO 55000 Asset Management standard across our asset-intensive organization. During this internship, you will analyze current processes, identify gaps, engage with stakeholders, and develop a practical roadmap for implementation. You will work closely with Asset Management, Maintenance, Operations, Finance and SHE-Q while gaining valuable experience in a global organization that manages one of the world's largest fleets of heavy lifting and transport equipment. What You’ll Be Doing As an Asset Management Intern, your primary assignment will be to develop an implementation plan for ISO 55000 within Mammoet. Your Responsibilities May Include Assessing the current maturity level of asset management processes Evaluating existing asset management practices against ISO 55000 requirements Conducting interviews and workshops with key stakeholders Identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities Defining governance, roles, responsibilities, and performance indicators Developing an implementation roadmap with priorities and milestones Creating recommendations for change management and organizational adoption Presenting findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders What You’ll Need Engaged in a bachelor study in Asset Management, Technical Business Administration, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical study In your final year/ internship (thesis) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Interest in maintenance, asset management, and continuous improvement Good communication skills and confidence interacting with different stakeholders Ability to work independently and structure complex information Fluent in English; Dutch is considered an advantage What You’ll Get A challenging and meaningful internship project with visible business impact Guidance from experienced Asset Management professionals Access to subject matter experts across Maintenance, Engineering, SHE-Q and Operations Opportunity to contribute to a strategic initiative within Mammoet A professional and supportive working environment Internship allowance in accordance with company guidelines WANT TO KNOW MORE? Core Responsibilities
Assess Mammoet’s current asset management maturity and practices against ISO 55000, engaging stakeholders through interviews and workshops to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities. Develop and present a prioritized implementation roadmap, including governance, responsibilities, performance indicators, and change management recommendations.
Requirements
Applicants should be final-year bachelor’s students in Asset Management, Technical Business Administration, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field, undertaking an internship or thesis. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, an interest in maintenance and continuous improvement, good communication skills, confidence engaging stakeholders, the ability to work independently, and fluency in English; Dutch is an advantage.
