Dit is jouw rol You build shared services and reusable components that help teams across PostNL develop AI solutions. Rather than working on one central platform, you develop technical capabilities that can be used across different use cases and teams. Your work may include capabilities such as knowledge bases, web search or reusable patterns for building agents, as well as new capabilities that emerge as AI technology develops. A key part of your role is staying close to what is happening in AI. You explore emerging technologies, experiment with new tools and approaches, and assess which developments could be relevant for PostNL. You are encouraged to question how we currently work, bring new ideas to the team, and turn promising developments into prototypes, shared capabilities, or proposals for our roadmap. You work closely with other AI Engineers and colleagues across PostNL to test ideas and turn them into practical solutions. You also enjoy sharing what you learn, whether through demos, technical deep dives, documentation, or simply helping other engineers understand and use new technologies. You have a solid software engineering foundation and care about writing clear, maintainable, and reliable code. At the same time, you are curious about what is happening in AI and enjoy experimenting with new technologies and ways of working. When you identify an opportunity for improvement, you proactively champion new ideas and help others understand their value. You also bring: A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. At least four years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating a strong engineering foundation. Experience building AI-powered applications or backend services using TypeScript and Python. Experience with AWS services such as Lambda and Step Functions, and infrastructure as code solutions such as AWS CDK. Nog wat laatste post ... Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, and at least four years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent engineering experience. Candidates should have experience building AI-powered applications or backend services with TypeScript and Python, and using AWS services such as Lambda and Step Functions and infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CDK.
