Our Procurement Team provides support for regional and corporate projects. We are in contact with local and regional teams to collaborate and innovate. We manage the buying process and engage in commercial sourcing management in order to achieve the best contractual conditions and best results for company.

As a Procurement Specialist you will manage the buying process for a given set of goods and services. You will apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.

 

As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Taking care of RFQ`s and contacting suppliers for getting the competitive quotations
  • with understanding of the contents and applications.
  • Placing and following -up on Purchase Orders (PO) and manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution with best value.
  • Keeping Ontime delivery of required Goods and Services and monitoring the status
  • Detecting and signalling flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
  • Taking care of contract negotiation, renovation and discussion with suppliers and contract management.
  • Managing supplier relationships to understand the business, gather market intelligence, assess risk and ensure compliance to KPIs
  • Handling communication with colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
  • Managing problems and scheduling changes and find the solutions
  • Reporting the supplier performance and any non-Conformity cases
  • Processing and taking care of Suppliers` invoices and any required rectification
  • Understanding the content of purchased items and preparing the comparison tables to find the best value.
  • Working with the stakeholders and supporting them in project milestones and alternatives as well as options
  • Working on capex PO`s and having some knowledge of equipment specifications & assets 

 

To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have experience gained in the sourcing/ buying/ procurement min. 5 years in Oil & Gas or Other energy sector or technological industries. 
  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred with technical background.
  • Be fluent in Dutch and English language. Other languages is pre.
  • Some Experience or adequate training on Contracts/ Agreement templates
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Have experience with SAP or Oracle is essential.
  • Leading procurement activities and bringing to the decision making.
  • Working independently and self-driving tasks and responsibilities.

Core Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist manages the end-to-end buying process, including RFQ handling, purchase order execution, and contract negotiation. They are responsible for maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring on-time delivery, and ensuring compliance with budgets and specifications.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within the energy or technological sectors. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with fluency in Dutch and English and proficiency in SAP or Oracle.
