What will you be doing? As a Shopfloor Employee at DocMorris, you are the linchpin in our process. You work actively in the specialized departments at the error stations. With your in-depth knowledge, you support the departments on the floor, analyze problems, and feed these back to the responsible process owners (POs). You ensure a smooth order flow and actively contribute to improving our processes. In addition, you supervise compliance with GDP guidelines (Good Distribution Practice) within your area of responsibility.


Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Providing support to departments on the shop floor, mainly in solving operational problems.
  • Acting as a process expert and the primary point of contact for process owners (PO).
  • Performing error analyses, assessments, and detailed error documentation in collaboration with team leaders (TL) and the PO.
  • Actively participating in process optimization to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Working at the error stations and carrying out inventory adjustments.
  • Performing periodic inventory counts (Cycle counting).
  • Handling return bookings, transfers, and preparing/processing returns for shipment.
  • Clearing out obsolete items.
  • Supporting other departments if necessary.

Your working hours: You work Monday through Friday in a 2-shift system:

  • Morning shift: 06:00 – 14:30
  • Afternoon/evening shift: 14:30 – 23:00
  • Every 4 weeks you work one weekend (Saturday and Sunday, morning shift) and one extra Sunday on the afternoon shift.

What do we offer you?

  • A gross monthly salary starting from € 2,608.26 (based on a 40-hour work week).
  • Extra allowance: At the start of this role, you will receive a temporary personal allowance of € 150 gross per month (pro rata for part-timers) for a period of up to 12 months. An evaluation for a permanent promotion will follow after 11-12 months.
  • Shift allowance of 20% after 20:00.
  • Sunday allowance of 100%.
  • Travel allowance of € 0.19 per km or free use of the DocMorris bus from Heerlen, Hoensbroek, Brunssum, Kerkrade, Landgraaf, and Eygelshoven.

What do we expect from you? (Qualifications and competencies)

  • MBO level of working and thinking.
  • Extensive experience in logistics and/or order processing.
  • A serious attitude, serving as a role model for other employees.
  • Strong ability to work independently and autonomously, precise and meticulous.
  • Good insight into processes and recognizing interrelationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, motivated, resilient, and stress-resistant.
  • Customer- and product-oriented mindset (affinity with medication).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office); knowledge of SAP is a major plus.
  • Good command of Dutch, English, or German (basic knowledge of German is a plus).
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends.
