Factory Controller, this is your challenge
Behind every production decision in Nunspeet is a financial perspective that helps shape the factory’s future. With approximately 331 SKUs, more than 100 export markets and 10 production and packaging lines, this is an environment where sound financial leadership has a direct impact. As Factory Controller, you are the trusted finance co-pilot of the Factory Manager and Factory Leadership Team. You connect financial insight with operational reality, bring clarity to complex decisions and help the factory improve its performance today while making well-informed choices for the long term.
As Factory Controller you have the following responsibilities:
- Act as the strategic finance partner to the Factory Manager and Factory Leadership Team, providing clear financial insights and supporting day-to-day and long-term business decisions;
- drive factory cost performance by challenging assumptions, identifying and validating savings opportunities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives;
- lead the factory’s budgeting, forecasting and business-planning processes, creating transparency and accountability around financial targets;
- ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and period-end closing in line with Nestlé Accounting Standards;
- maintain strong governance and internal controls, ensure audit readiness and compliance with relevant requirements, and lead the financial evaluation of CAPEX projects and investment proposals;
- lead, coach and develop the factory finance team while improving financial understanding, processes, systems, reporting, data quality and digital capabilities across the factory.
As Factory Controller you report to the Factory Manager, and you are part of the Factory Leadership Team of Nestlé Netherlands in Nunspeet.
What we are looking for in our Factory Controller
- A relevant university-level master’s degree;
- approximately 10 to 15 years of relevant Finance experience;
- strong experience in factory costing and business controlling, preferably in a complex manufacturing or FMCG environment;
- advanced financial analysis skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets;
- strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, compliance, budgeting and forecasting;
- leadership and coaching experience, combined with proficiency in Excel and SAP S/4HANA and professional fluency in English.

- A full-time role (40 hours per week) with excellent benefits: a 13th month and 25 vacation days;
