Job Description

 

  • Perform optical characterization measurements on VCSEL and photodiode devices
  • Measure and document near-field and far-field emission patterns using beam profilers
  • Collect and analyze spectral data using optical spectrum analyzers
  • Execute standardized test procedures for laser sensor module performance
  • Support data correlation between measurements and existing optical models
  • Maintain measurement logs and create visualization reports

Qualifications

  • Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering, photonics or a comparable technical course of study
  • Basic understanding of optics and laser principles as well as data analysis skills with Excel, MATLAB or Python
  • Safe, precise work with optical devices in compliance with applicable safety standards
  • Responsible, structured, detail-oriented and conscientious way of working
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • 8 - 16 hours per week / 6 months
  • Working in a dynamic, young, high-tech company

    Requirements
