Are you a technical Data Analyst who looks beyond just building dashboards? At EQOM, we aren't looking for a standard analyst; we want an expert who can structure, automate, and create real impact. Here, you will have the opportunity to build solutions that go beyond simple modeling, you will contribute to structural improvement, scalability, and growth. What will you do? At EQOM, you work with data in a way that delivers tangible value. You will build dashboards, create reports, and model data in a smart, scalable way. You don’t just think about what needs to be extracted from the data, but specifically how, with a keen eye for reusability, structure, and efficiency. You follow principles like "Don’t Repeat Yourself" (DRY) to ensure solutions are built correctly the first time. You will enter an environment where software engineering skills are just as vital as analytical ones. Structuring, automating, and clear communication are essential. You will coach colleagues and work closely with various teams; including E-commerce, Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Purchasing, across both B2B and B2C sectors. Our Tech Stack Databricks on Azure dbt for data modeling PowerBI for visualization You will join our international Data Team, consisting of Data & Web Analysts, Analytics Engineers, and Data Engineers. Who are you? You are an expert who prioritizes efficiency and scalability. You can translate complex technical data into simple, clear insights for colleagues without a technical background. As an experienced analyst, you know how to turn a vague business request into a concrete product by asking the "why" and empathizing with the end user. You... Ask the right questions to truly understand underlying processes. Communicate realistic expectations without falling into "people-pleasing" behavior. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst. Proficient in building, structuring, and transforming data. Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment with a focus on results. Strong knowledge of SQL and Python. Experience with PowerBI (or similar) for dashboarding. Experience with dbt and/or Databricks is a significant advantage. Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and verbal). Availability: For this role, it is required to work at our office in Veendam at least three days per week. What do we offer? Requirements
Requires at least three years of Data Analyst experience, HBO+ level thinking and working, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with Power BI or a similar dashboarding tool. Experience in a fast-paced commercial environment is required; dbt and/or Databricks experience is an advantage, and excellent written and spoken Dutch and English are required.

About MARUG

The Marketing Association of the University of Groningen is an inter-departmental study association for students in the field of Economics, Business Administration, Communication Sciences and Psychology, which acts as an intermediary between marketing theory and marketing practice. MARUG was founded in 1981 by prof. dr. P.S.H. Leeflang, professor at the marketing department of the faculty of Economics & Business Studies at the University of Groningen. The main goal of MARUG is to facilitate the exchange of marketing knowledge and experience, by offering various activities. In order to realize this, contact with the university and its students on the one hand, and contact with business life on the other hand are managed strongly. Currently, MARUG has 1400 members. A typical MARUG member would be an active, social, intelligent and enthusiastic student who is willing to broaden his or her marketing knowledge in addition his/her studies. Besides, a large number of scientists and working professionals are connected to MARUG. MARUG comprises 11 committees and two financially independent foundations. MARUG is part of the Marketing Association of the Netherlands (MAN), together with Marketing Associations from Amsterdam, Maastricht, Rotterdam and Tilburg.
