Affinity with Risk and Compliance experience24x7 Production SupportThe Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle databases. They ensure data integrity, security, and availability while managing backups, recovery, and database optimization. Junior Oracle DBAs focus on routine tasks and learning the system, while senior and lead DBAs handle complex database architectures, mentor teams, and strategize on database solutions for business needs.

Core Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases, ensuring their performance, security, integrity, and availability. Support 24/7 production operations by responding to incidents, managing backups and recovery, improving monitoring and deployment practices, and collaborating with the team.

Requirements

The role calls for senior-level Oracle DBA expertise, including database performance analysis and tuning, along with strong scripting skills and experience with monitoring, deployment, and CI/CD tools. Candidates should also have knowledge of Tibco BW and EMS, Agile practices, risk and compliance, and strong written and verbal English communication skills; willingness to provide out-of-hours standby support is required.
