Your responsibilities: Partner closely with plant leadership and managers, acting as a trusted advisor on organizational, people, and workforce matters. Drive the local execution of Qemetica's HR strategy, ensuring global initiatives and standards are effectively implemented at site level. Foster a positive employee relations environment by supporting managers in resolving employee issues, managing complex cases, and promoting a culture of engagement, accountability, and collaboration. Serve as the key HR contact for labor relations matters, maintaining constructive relationships with employee representatives and the Works Council. Support managers in talent management, performance management, succession planning, organizational changes, and leadership development initiatives. Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll administration delivered through external providers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience. Monitor HR metrics and workforce trends, translating insights into practical actions that support both business objectives and employee engagement. Collaborate closely with regional and global HR teams to continuously improve HR processes, systems, and employee programs. Our requirements: Several years of experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar role within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment. Strong knowledge of labor law and hands-on experience working with Works Councils, employee representatives, and employee relations matters. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business priorities into effective people solutions. Proven ability to build trusted relationships and manage stakeholders at different levels of the organization. Experience supporting organizational change and helping leaders navigate transformation and business challenges. A pragmatic, hands-on approach combined with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience working with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or Workday is an advantage. Core Responsibilities
Partner with plant leaders on workforce and organizational matters, implement the local HR agenda, and support employee relations, labor relations, talent, performance, succession, and leadership development. Oversee externally delivered compensation, benefits, and payroll services, use workforce metrics to guide action, and collaborate with regional and global HR teams to improve processes and programs.
Requirements
Requires several years of HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or similar experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational setting, along with strong labor-law knowledge and hands-on Works Council and employee-relations experience. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; a master's degree is preferred, and experience with SAP SuccessFactors or Workday is an advantage.
