Pairio is a native macOS app for real-time screen sharing, built for people who work together: founders, designers, developers, product people. Not another meeting tool, but a collaboration tool. You share your screen, your teammate draws on it, takes over your keyboard. One click to call, no link, no invite. We use Pairio every day to build Pairio, so we feel every friction point ourselves. That keeps us focused on craft, speed, and the small details that matter. Pixel-perfect rendering. Sub-frame latency. Smooth animations. Crisp text at every resolution. We have ambitious plans for where it goes next, and we need help getting there. What you’ll work on Pixel-perfect screen sharing. Keeping text crisp across capture, encode, transport, and rendering while balancing quality, frame rate, and responsiveness on real-world connections One-click calling. Making it feel instant: presence, signaling, WebRTC negotiation, and seamless audio/video setup Drawing on screen and remote control. Live annotations, cursor sharing, keyboard and mouse input mapped precisely across machines Privacy. App masking, encrypted connections, and making sure users always control what they share Performance. Reducing latency at every layer so collaboration feels like sitting next to each other Testing. We ship with confidence, not crossed fingers The Swift app talks to a Rails backend. Core Responsibilities

Build and improve Pairio’s native Swift app, focusing on crisp, low-latency screen sharing, one-click calling, live annotations, and precise remote keyboard and mouse control. Strengthen privacy, performance, and testing across the app’s real-time collaboration features.

Requirements

Candidates should have deep experience building native macOS or iOS apps in Swift, strong UX sensibility, and an eye for polished, pixel-perfect interfaces. They should enjoy owning substantial product areas in a small team and be based in Europe; experience with the Rails backend is a bonus.
